Well, it's been about a year since we have smoked a cigar that we felt that it was necessary to put in the JAGG Hall of Fame. Just like last time, it is another Tatuaje Exclusive. (seems to be a rhythm) The Gran Cojonu Reserva is right on point right now with us at JAGG and this has summoned it to the Hall of Fame. The GCR is the same stick as the original except they replaced the Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf. They were an exclusive blend for Germany. If you would like to try some, give Cigar World in Dusseldorf a shout and they can hook you up!

JAGG Score: 95

Riste Buc of Jas Sum Kral Cigars Interview

post by Nick Radke

Riste Buc is a new name and face in the blending world but not in the cigar realm. Many of us have gotten to know Riste in the social media world. Riste, who can sometimes be controversial, is a familiar face in many fb smoke groups, online forums, etc. etc. There is one thing that is for sure and that is that Riste is a knowledgeable and outstanding BOTL. He has a cigar coming out that he blended and gave us the time to learn more about it and himself as well as his company!

Q&A Interview: Jon Huber of Crowned Heads

By now you must be familiar with the name Crowned Heads! If for some strange reason you are still in the dark about these guys, call Don Wiggins at the Underground Cigar Shop and get you a sampler. Or if you are out there hunting some more Las Calaveras 2014, call me I may know where some are hiding!!
A relatively new name to the boutique world, Crowned Heads has really came storming out of the gates. Their HQ is out of my home state of Tennessee, and they are responsible for great cigars such as the Four Kicks, Headley Grange, J.D. Howard Reserve, Jericho Hill and JAGG's number 1 cigar of 2014, The Las Calaveras.
From their site, "Crowned Heads is influenced by a time when quality, pride, and integrity mattered.  We strive to bring our vision to reality and invite you to live in our world.  We are not here to do it like everyone else.  When the rules don’t make sense to us, we carve our own path.

We are bonded to a belief in strict attention to detail, and we remain meticulously focused upon every aspect of our products and our brand."
Even though Crowned Heads may be a newer name in the marketplace, Jon Huber is no stranger to the cigar business. He came up with CAO back in 1996, personally when CAO was still making sticks worth smoking. Jon has so gratiously took the time to answer a few questions for us at JAGG to let us better get to know himself and his brand.

In reality, I’ve been doing this for close to 18 years and I feel that I still don’t know anything; every time I go to the factory I learn something new.  That’s what keeps it fresh and exciting for me.
